SKI CLOTHING
A ski jacket is one of the most important items of clothing you will ever own. It needs to keep you warm in some of the most extreme weather conditions your body will ever face. It needs to be practical, hardwearing, and make you look great on the slopes. Freeski has 200 square metres of retail space divided into two levels and enjoys a prime location in Meribel centre. The retail shop offers a wide range of ski clothing for your next adventure, including ski jackets, ski trousers, gloves, socks, hats, helmets etc… Our brands : The North Face; Peak Performance; Norrona; Avalanche; Black Crows offer you the highest level of comfort, performance and protection for both clothes and accessories.
ACCESSORIES
Choosing the right pair of gloves (or mittens) may seem straightforward, but there are some important considerations and it's worth remembering that freezing hands and numb fingers can completely ruin a day in the mountains. Gloves and mittens that are specifically designed for skiing and snowboarding have the warmth, dryness, and features necessary for a day in the mountains.
Goggles are another important piece of kit. Any skier or snowboarder will tell you that not being able to see, ruins a day as fast as poor fitting boots. We stock only high quality technical accessories for all budget making sure you're properly equipped to enjoy your day on the mountain.
BOOT FITTING
Buying your first pair of ski boots or replacing beloved old favourites is an important moment and is not to be rushed! Take your time and expect to try a few pairs ... There are many reputable brands on the market, each selling several different models that suit different needs and different foot shapes. Boot performance, comfort, and warmth depend mostly on fit, your needs, and personal taste. To ensure the best fit we recommend seeking the advice and services of a professional boot fitter. Our well-trained staff will find the boots that suit your feet. Our boot fitter will measure your foot, ask you questions, and will select the perfect boot for your feet and make any adjustments required to ensure a perfect fit for both comfort and performance on the slopes. Every ski boot comes with a comfort guarantee.
SKI TEST CENTRE
The 'try before you buy' experience gives you the opportunity to try several pairs of skis on real snow , making for a confident "no brainer" purchase. We specialise in All Mountain, Touring and Big Mountain skis. We sell exclusively BLACK CROWS - FACTION and SCOTT . Every pair of skis sold at FreeSki Meribel is available as a demo as well, letting you test the latest technology on snow - and when you buy, we deduct the demo rental fee from the sale price!

INTERNATIONAL WELCOME
Our staff are knowledgeable, experienced, professional and friendly and are a mix of French and English native speakers. All this, means that we can offer you a level of service which is second to none in Meribel. The shop is in a central location - it is less than a minute to walk to the escalator by the Tourist Office that takes you directly onto the piste.
